A widget gallery?

A random idea to make life easier for new developers: how about a "widget gallery?"

An early-morning thought.  It seems like the library of clever UI fields and widgets for Plone is expanding pretty quickly these days.   It might be helpful for less-experienced developers trying to design user-friendly Archteypes if they could refer to a graphical "quick guide" to the different widgets.

Unfortunately I lack the skills to create such a guide, so I figured I'd throw the idea out there into the lazy web.

Perhaps something like this

Right. I've spend a couple of evenings during the last month playing when a lot of the amazing widgets. Some of them are screenshotted in this first draft document:

This is really excellent!

Anton -- This is a great effort! Thanks for taking the time to start putting this together.

I wonder if it would make sense to bundle some version of this into the core Plone distribution docs, if you clearly noted which widgets were "default/core" widgets and which ones were third-party (with their download URLs).

I also think this doc should be standalone on the Plone documentation site, preferably in HTML format (in addition, maybe, to PDF). To me, this feels most like a "reference manual" with one widget per page.
